Natural habitat: Preferring tropical and subtropical hardwoods, including bamboo and rubber trees.

Usage: Edible mushroom, vital mushroom
The mycelium of this pleurotus species is very robust and therefore very popular in commercial cultivation. Fruiting bodies become 5 to 15 cm in diameter. The cap is bright pink when young and loses colour as it matures.

How to care for spawn:
You have received your spawn, now what?
- Keep the spawn bag in box, either refrigerated at no lower than 4°C or in a cool , quiet place.
- Use the spawn within 2 weeks for best results
- When ready to use, remove the bag from the shipping box. Carefully break the spawn seed block into separate seed kernels again.
- Before use, wipe the outside of the spawn bag with isopropyl alcohol to disinfect.
